The effigy was initially undercoated using two coats of the old citadel layer paint charadon granite and subsequently heavily washed with nuln oil.

While the thornwood green is a shade lighter than the granite it is darker than the stormvermin fur.
The middle is the old chardon granite and the far right is the new stormvermin fur.
It was then simply dry brushed using more charadon granite.
You can recognise a miniature from this time by the liberal use of the colour and more likely than not a bright green base.

In fact the purple mauve looking grey is citadel base.
Citadel actually have a bunch of great new greys that i am just experimenting with now.
I drybrushed the wood with formula p3 bastion grey stormfiend grey is closest then added a brush highlight of bastion grey where needed.
The wooden parts got a basecoat of old charadon granite skavenblight dinge is close.

The far left is p3 thornwood green.
In the bottle it looks super close to the old charadon granite.

I also do something similar with citadel charadon granite but this is darker closer to a base layer shade and really just needs progressive lightening for the mid and highlight.
For the wood i applied the wash selectively into the recesses while the metal got an all over wash.
